A little known historical fact is that the Warrior Queen Boudica often wielded a cardboard claymore with which she was said to have smote many of her enemy's in battle. The tube will be one of the grand prizes at the San Francisco CTFL tournament.
Tyrfing
Svafrlami, a grandson of Odin, after trapping Dwarves Dvalinn and Durin, forced them to forge a tube that would never miss a stroke, and could cut through corrugated cardboard as well as heavy mailing tubes. In bitterness for being forced to create such a tube, the dwarves cursed it so that whenever it was drawn it would break another tube and cause three evils. This led to the destruction of the Library at Alexandria, Napo's march on Moscow, and George Lucas' return to the Star Wars franchise. The magical tube, now slightly less cursed, will be given away at the upcoming CTFL tournament in San Francisco.

The History of the Suffusca Mors -Won by Craig Downing
The Suffusca Mors or, roughly translated, the "Brownish Death" is a tube of great historical significance. The first record of the Legendary Tube was it's use by Charlemagne's paladin Roland (Orlando in Italian) in the 8th century. It is said that the tube contained within it one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, a hair of Saint Denis, and a remnant of the lesser known Virgin Larry. In The Tune of Roland, the tube is said to have struck down entire Saracen armies and been "unbreakable". It is even believed by some cardboard scholars that the La Breche de Roland was in fact created with the Suffusca Mors and not the legendary sword known as Durendal. Thought to be lost to the ages, the Suffusca Mors has recently resurfaced and is now in the possession of the Cardboard Tube Fighting League. The tube, which is valued at well over a dollar will be the grand prize at the next CTFL tournament being held on September 30th.
